If you don’t love doing chores (who does anyway?), here are few tips, tricks and hacks that will surely interest you.Although they are targeted towards to all homeowners, I think it’s suits best for tenants or renters.

Freshen Up Your Mattress

Mattress absorbs your body odor. No matter how hard you tried to clean them, the odor will stay there for quite a while.

Great thing there is a cleaning hack for that. Pour vodka into a spray bottle and spray it lightly across your mattress. Leave it for a while to air dry. The vodka (alcholol) can kill odor causing bacteria.

Clean The Ceiling Fan

Ceiling fans are quite annoying to clean. The good thing is, there’s a fool proof way to clean it now. Hook an old pillowcase over one fan blade at a time and slowly wipe it backward. This way, you can clean the blade effectively while trapping the dust inside the pillowcase.

Clean The Air Vent

If you haven’t done so, now is the perfect time to clean your air vent. Using a clean towel, moisten it up with your cleaning solution. Wrap it around a butter knife and presto, you got a perfect tool in cleaning the air vent.

Clean The Shower Head

Pour distilled white vinegar in a plastic bag. Fit it over the shower heard with a rubber band. Let it soak overnight then remove the bag and wipe away those nasty water deposits.

Clean The Toilet Bowl

Instead of scrubbing the toilet for long hours, why not do this easier route. Fill a mason jar with vinegar. Punch a couple of small holes in the metal lid. drop the jar into your toilet’s water tank upside down. With each flush, the vinegar will seep out of the jar. Vinegar will act as your cleaning agent making it easier for you to scrub down those remaining nasty deposits, if ever.
