Cut River Bridge Overlook – Mackinac County
When it comes to bridges in Michigan, there’s no question that Mackinac Bridge is the most popular one. But, when it comes to scenic bridges, the Cut River Bridge Overlook is one of the best one. This bridge is one of Michigan’s largest and most well-known historic bridges and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
This scenic overlook offers visitors and travelers the chance to take a break from a long drive and see the beauty of Northern Michigan. The bridge stands 147 feet above the Cut River and it has a stairway that provides access to several trails along the river.

Wow, these are all gorgeous. I’ve seen Sleeping Bear Dunes but haven’t walked around much, and I’ve been over the Mackinac Bridge.
They’re all so beautiful. Perhaps a trip to one of these places will be the downtime I’d need.
