We put a lot of money into our home, unlike what you said, the people before us put a lot of work to the inside, like a kitchen upgrade, but not a lot of work on the outside, both yard were complete nightmares.   9. Great tips! We’re house hunting at the moment, and there is so much to be said. I look at major things, and if there is even the slightest imperfection, I assume that the house isn’t well cared for and that there are a lot of hidden problems.

You have to remember that people entering the house-for-sale are trying to zero in on every little thing – and as someone living there…you’ve become ‘blind’ to some of the imperfections that others will detect.
